Our Story

Peace CommUNITY began with neighbors who believed peace should be practiced, not postponed.

We started around shared tables in local halls, libraries, and parks—listening to one another, naming community tensions honestly, and choosing connection over distance. What began as a small circle has grown into a welcoming local organization where people of all backgrounds can learn, contribute, and belong.

Today, our mission is simple and active: build a culture of peace through everyday participation. We bring people together through programs, gatherings, and practical learning that strengthen trust and help our community respond with care, courage, and cooperation.
